Anatomy

Designed by two MScKin graduates and a Clinical Exercise Physiologist, this course breaks down key anatomical concepts in a way that’s simple, practical, and directly applicable to how you teach. You’ll learn how the body moves, what muscles and bones are involved, and how to cue exercises in ways that protect your clients and enhance their results. Course highlights include:

Foundational Landmarks: Gain the ability to identify essential anatomical features. This knowledge helps you develop a deeper understanding of posture and alignment, allowing you to cue movements more precisely and confidently.

Core Activation & the Powerhouse: Learn how deep stabiliser muscles work alongside other muscles to support and move the spine. This insight helps you teach muscle engagement more effectively, ensuring clients activate the right muscles for optimal support and movement control.

Injury and Condition Management: Understand the biomechanics of common injuries such as disc herniations and shoulder impingements, focusing on the bones, muscles, and joints involved. This knowledge enables you to choose and adapt exercises safely. Knowing the proper movement patterns will help you correct your clients so they move in a way that promotes healing and longevity
