Anatomy

Designed by two MScKin graduates and a Clinical Exercise Physiologist, this course breaks down key anatomical concepts in a way that’s simple, practical, and directly applicable to how you teach. You’ll learn how the body moves, what muscles and bones are involved, and how to cue exercises in ways that protect your clients and enhance their results. Course highlights include:

Foundational Landmarks: Learn how to identify important anatomical points like the sit bones, ASIS, and sternum to guide posture, alignment, and cueing in your sessions.

Core Activation & the Powerhouse: Understand how deep abdominal muscles like the Transversus Abdominis support the spine, improve posture, and create the “scoop” you cue in class.

Spinal Health: Dive into the structure of the spine, including facet joints and discs, and learn how to teach C-curves, spinal lengthening, and safe movement patterns that support recovery and long-term resilience.
